Dual- Spark or also Called Wasted Spark ignition system  replaced the distributor ignition the spark is distributed by an electronic control device usually drives a  single 4 terminalS coil with 4 spark plug wires ( in the case of a 4-cylinder engine ) It fires two spark plugs simultaneously For example the spark plug in the cylinder 1 where combustion  occurs and the spark plug in the cylinder 4 during unloading  therefore one spark is lost.  Example a 4-cylinder engine we see that in the cylinders 1 and 4 the sparks are produced simultaneously and in the same way in cylinders 3 and 2. This way of distributing the spark inevitably loses  ignition power on spark plugs because the energy sent by the coil is divided on 2 spark plugs .

It 'important to know that one spark plug is polarized incorrectly in each pair of cylinders so a minimum 20% of energy is removed from the spark plug in the cylinder in combustion phase. When spark plugs begin to wear the electrodes and  covered with deposits  the voltage required to make the spark increases. The standard coils  will wear out with time and may be less efficient in the transformation from low voltage to high voltage. Spark plug cables can deteriorate prematurely as they work always in pairs and can cause current leakage. All these factors result in the risk of having a spark that does not have much strength to make optimum combustion at all engine speeds. Also the fact that the system fires   simultaneously always two spak plugs each  time even on the cylinder where there is no combustion is due to increase spark plugs wear The stock coils could not supply a very powerful ignition otherwise the wear of the spark plugs cables   (mostly carbon resistive cables)  and plugs would be excessive, and their substitution would have been too frequent. Then the coils output on this type of ignition is not usually high and they just give  enough energy to fire standard spark plug with lean and stochiometric ratio with standard compression .

 
A way to increase spark energy IN THIS wasted spark SYSTEM is by installing an

Easy installation! Remove the original ignition module by unscrewing the bolts Connect the 3 flat pins of Supercoil to ignition module as shown oh the photo. Use female fastons and 3mm wires The central pin is (+) current +12V the side pins are (-) signals. To make sure you are doing the right connection switch on the key without turning the engine(engine off) and check with a tester thaT central module PIN is ACTUALLY supplying 12Volts Install spark plug cables on Supercoil following the sequence cylinder 1-4 and cylinder 2-3. The same sequence as you would do with stock coil Install Special Torque Master Spark Plugs which make the KIT ULTRA PERFORMING
